War: China reaffirms support for Russia
China has reaffirmed its support and solidarity for Russia on “sovereignty and security” matters.
The President of China, Xi Jinping, affirmed his solidarity for Russia in a call with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin on Wednesday.
While commenting on his 69th birthday, Xi also reiterated his intent to strengthen strategic coordination between the two countries.
A separate readout from the two leaders revealed their countries’ relations “were at an all-time high” and reaffirmed their commitment to “consistently deepen the comprehensive partnership.”
The Informant247 gathered that the call would be the second time the two leaders would be speaking since Russia invaded Ukraine.
