VIDEO: Moment John Mahama mistakenly calls Tinubu ‘President of Ghana’ at his inauguration
John Mahama, the newly inaugurated Ghanaian President, on Tuesday at his inauguration address, mistakenly referred to Nigerian President Bola Tinubu as the “President of Ghana.”
Mahama, 65, was officially sworn in as Ghana’s president, succeeding Nana Akufo-Addo, marking his second tenure as president, having previously served from July 2012 to January 2017.
His first presidency began following the passing of President John Evans Atta Mills in July 2012. Mahama completed that term and subsequently won the presidential election in 2012.
