Victor Osimhen welcomes a new baby
The Nigeria Super Eagles and Napoli Striker, Victor Osimhen and her partner has welcomed their first child.
A seasoned Italian journalist, Manuel Gaurdasole took to social media to announce the news.
It read as follows:
“Victor Osimhen has become a father: this is the reason for his absence from training this morning ??.”
Osimhen suffered a hamstring knock during a Champions League outing against Liverpool. That setback saw him miss three Serie A matches as well as the Super Eagles’ international friendly against the Desert Foxes in Oran.
The 23 year old striker, who have resumed training with the team could return back to action for Napoli in Serie A fixture against Cremonese on Sunday, and could also be available against Ajax in the Champions League.
Napoli thrashed FC Copenhagen 6-1 on Tuesday night in their last Champions league game.
