Veteran Nollywood actress Iyabo Oko dies at 61

Sidikat Odunkanwi, popularly known as Iyabo Oko, the veteran Yoruba actress, has been reported dead.

Bisi Aisha, one of the actress’s daughters, while announcing her death on a Facebook page on Thursday, said Iyabo Oko died on Wednesday.

She wrote: “May ur soul Rest In Peace mummy.”

Also sharing the dead actress’s pictures on her Facebook page, actress Iyabo Ojo wrote: “Nollywood mourns. Veteran actress Iyabo OKO is dead.”

Prior to her death, the 61-year-old veteran actress batlled with ill-health which caused her to take a long break from the movie scene.
