2023: PDP ‘ll win Lagos, 25 other states – Ayu
Sen. Iyorchia Ayu, the National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has expressed optimism that the party will win Lagos and other 25 states in 2023 general election.
Stating this on Wednesday in Abuja, when he received the second stanza of the report of the PDP Special Reconciliation Committee for Lagos and Osun, Ayu commended the committee for its indept report on Osun which greatly contributed to PDP victory in the state.
Naira redesign: US Dollar might drop to N200 – EFCC chair, Bawa
The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, has been hopeful that the US dollar might drop to N200 following the naira’s redesign.
The EFCC boss disclosed this in an interview with Deutsche Welle, Hausa service on Wednesday, commending President Muhammadu Buhari for approving the redesigning of the naira.

Troops have neutralized a notorious bandits’ leader, Kachalla Gudau, and his trusted aide, Rigimamme, in Kankomi Forest, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The two were among several bandits killed by troops of the Nigerian Army in an operation on Sunday.

President Buhari approves N134bn for military veterans, inaugurates 2023 Emblem Appeal Fund
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has approved N134.7 billion for the payment of Security Debarment Allowance (SDA) to all military veterans.
The president, who revealed this at the launch of the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem and Appeal fund, announced the donation of N10 million to the Nigerian Legion, on behalf of the Federal Government.
