A former stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Naja’atu Muhammad, has revealed the identity of the person who will run the presidency if the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu becomes the president.
The former senator representing Kano central, said the wife of the presidential candidate, Remi Tinubu, will run the affairs of the country if her husband emerges winner of the forthcoming presidential election.
She made this revelation, Wednesday while granting a television interview.
She said: “In this case, you know that those hangers-on are only pushing him knowing that he cannot do it and they will be the beneficiaries. He is just there like an idol.
“His wife will be doing the ruling. She will rule over the country and the other hangers, they even hate Asiwaju as far as I am concerned, because you cannot put somebody that is ill mentally into a position of leadership.
“What sort of people are we? This thing can come back and consume every one of us.”
Naja’atu Muhammad, a Director in the presidential campaign council of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu has resigned her appointment.
The Informant247 learned that she was the Director of Civil Society in the Presidential Campaign Council of the party.
The resignation of the former Senator came few weeks to the 2023 presidential election.
The Informant247 recalls that President Muhammadu Buhari in 2018 appointed the female politician as Commissioner at the Police Service Commission (PSC).
She revealed that the situation and challenges battling the country need her to keep agitating for a better nation with good conscience.
Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, has said that his former campaign’s Director of Civil Society Organisations, Naja’atu Mohammed was sacked from her position.
The presidential candidate said the female politician was dismissed over incompetence in his campaign team.
The presidential candidate said her claim that she resigned from the campaign team was a lie.
The adviser of the campaign on public affairs, Mahmud Jega, said the female politician was a machinery used by the opposition to get sensitive information about the party.
Muhammad also said she would not follow or support the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Tinubu, blindly as he did to President Muhammadu Buhari.
She recalled that she supported the president blindly in 2015, and that he did not fulfill his campaign promises.
The former senator said she would not repeat the same blunder, as she’s not ready to follow Tinubu blindly.
