Senate Deputy Whip, Abdullahi delivers Niger LGAs to Tinubu

The Senate Deputy Chief Whip, Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, has delivered his local government areas in Borgu Kingdom to the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the presidential election.

The Informant247 understands that the lawmaker representing Niger North Senatorial District in the 9th Assembly is also the National Coordinator of Project 774 For Tinubu/Shettima 2023.

He secured 290 votes for the ruling APC out of a total votes of 383 votes cast in his polling unit, 001 Jahi Ground in New Bussa.

The presiding officer of the INEC, Muhammad Dauda certified the results.

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP polled 64 votes, the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP had 15 votes and Labour Party, LP secured 4 votes.

Sabi Abdullahi also secured a victory for Tinubu in the local governments in Borgu with wide margin.

The presidential candidate was decorated with the chieftaincy title, Jagaban Borgu by the Borgu Kingdom.

Below are results of the presidential election in Borgu :

APC — 22,486 votes;

PDP 9,649;

LP 6,140.
