Tinubu returns to Nigeria after one week ‘working visit’ to Europe

Nigerian President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday, returned from europe after spending a week away from the country.

The Informant247 gathered recalls that Tinubu departed Nigeria on June 20 to participate in the two-day New Global Financial Pact Summit, held in Paris, France.

It was learned that the president was scheduled to return on Saturday, June 24, but Dele Alake, presidential spokesman, explained that “Tinubu would proceed to London, United Kingdom, for a short private visit to be back for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival”.

Meanwhile, the aircraft which flew in the president touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos State in the afternoon.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on ground to receive the president to his home state of Lagos, where he is expected to spend Sallah.
