Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has extended an invitation to the 2023 presidential candidates of the Labour Party and the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, to unite with him in advocating for justice in Nigeria.
This appeal comes in the wake of the Chicago State University (CSU) releasing President Bola Tinubu’s academic records to Atiku upon the directive of an American court, a development that has sparked public discussions across Nigeria.
Addressing a world press conference in Abuja on Thursday, Atiku emphasized that his pursuit was not for personal gain but for the greater good of the nation.
“This endeavor isn’t centered on Atiku Abubakar; it’s a quest to establish truth, ethics, justice, and transparency in our public affairs,” Atiku stated.
Consequently, Atiku urged all patriotic Nigerians, including thought leaders, religious figures, traditional leaders, community leaders, and political leaders, to rally behind this cause.
Specifically, he called upon Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso of NNPP, leaders of various political parties in Nigeria, and every individual who shares his love for the country and desires its prosperity to join him in this campaign aimed at institutionalizing accountability and fundamental principles of justice, ethics, and integrity within Nigeria and its governance.
