Super Eagles players will receive $10,000 each for the victories over Egypt and Sudan at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

According to BSNsports.com, the mode for the bonus payment had earlier been agreed upon by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the Super Eagles before the tournament commenced.

Sequel to the agreement, players are expected to receive the sum of $5000 for a win and $2,500 for a draw.

Reports says the players and officials of the team would be paid their bonuses in full after qualifying from the group stage of the competition while a win over Guinea Bissau in their third game will see them earning more.

Recall that Skipper Ahmed Musa had said in a media chat ahead of the first game that the players are still being owed two match bonuses.

It’s now unclear whether the outstanding bonuses will be paid alongside the AFCON allowances.

Super Eagles who have now reached round of 16 of the tournament with a game to spare currently leads Group D with six points, having recorded a win over Egypt and Sudan in their last two games.
