Members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Share ward, Kwara South have ordered the indefinite suspension of former Senator Makanjuola Ajadi for anti-party activity and irreconcilable action during the governorship and assembly election.
The elders of the party in Share ward 1-5 alleged that Senator Ajadi and S.A. to Kwara State Governor, Engr. Razaq Apaguntan (RAAF) with some other members of the ward party during a press conference on Friday in Ilorin.
Elders of Share ward 5 alleged Senator Ajadi of openly declaring support urging his supporters to work against the All Progressive Congress house of assembly Candidate.
“To our utmost amazement and disbelief M S Ajadi publicly directed his supporters in constituency A to work against the APC house of assembly Candidate in person of Hon. Razaq Olatunde Owolabi, he asked them to vote for the PDP candidate. To achieve his diabolical desire a few days before the elections, he mobilised the opposition parties – PDP, SDP, ADC, ACCORD And NNPP during a meeting in Babanloma and instructed them to vote for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in the Governorship election bit to vote for PDP candidate in the house if assembly election. Truly there was a significant difference if you compare the results of the Governorship Nd house of Assembly election.”
In the same vein, Share 3&4 also accused Senator Ajadi of interfering in the affairs of the party and has been warned to stare clear from the political activist of the two wards, has the ward voted massively for APC in the Presidential and National Assembly election before Ajadi decamped to APC few days to the governorship election.
According to Share ward 1&2, two of the party candidate lost during the Governorship and assembly elections, has a result of the anti-party activities of Engr. Apaguntan and four other members, of which the ward have passed a vote of no confidence on the alleged members.
“Our great party All Progressive Congress (APC), thrives on absolute loyalty, faithfulness, and discipline. Therefore, the party has found these individuals as unworthy members and agents of darkness, hence their indefinite suspension from the party today Friday, March 31, 2023.”
The party elders while answering question from the media said they didn’t summon the accused for explanation before publicly suspending them has the accused do not have justification for their actions.
