Senator Saliu Mustapha is a good friend of Igbomina, says Omo Ibile Igbomina
A socio-cultural group, Omo Ibile Igbomina has described the Senator representing the Kwara Central Senatorial District, Senator Saliu Mustapha as a good friend of Igbomina, who would continue to enjoy the groups partnership for the development of the Kwara South SenatorialDistrict.
The group therefore reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, to drive development in the region.
This pledge came as the group expressed deep appreciation to the senator for donating a bus to support its activities.
In a statement released by its Public Relations Officer, Chief Hammed Aiyedun, and made available to journalists, the organization described the donation as a fulfillment of the senator’s promise during the recent Igbomina Day celebration, where he served as the chief launcher.
The National President of Omo Ibile Igbomina, Elder Gabriel Jimoh, commended Senator Mustapha for his consistent efforts in community development, particularly in human capital advancement, infrastructure improvement, and the empowerment of women and youth.
“His dedication to the welfare of his constituents is commendable, and this donation further demonstrates his commitment to supporting initiatives that uplift our people,” Elder Jimoh stated.
According to the statement, the newly donated bus will significantly enhance the organization’s ability to mobilize and engage with various communities, strengthening efforts to preserve and promote Igbomina’s cultural heritage.
“We appreciate Senator Mustapha’s recognition of our work and his unwavering support. This partnership is one we hold dear, and we look forward to more collaborative efforts to foster unity and development in Igbomina land,” the statement added.
