The spokesman of Nigerian Senate, Ajibola Bashiru, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has lost his Osun Central seat to Olubiyi Fadeyi, who contested on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The result of the election was given at Coalition Center in Olohunkoro area in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State.
Bashiru, gathered 117,609 votes, while the candidate who won the senatorial seat, Fadeyi got 134,229 votes.
