SAS foundation to feed 1,000 families in Ilorin as part of ramadan initiative

In a bid to support vulnerable families during Ramadan, global IT leader and philanthropist, Engineer Saleeman Adedoyin Saleeman, has announced a major food distribution initiative through his SAS Foundation.

The initiative, scheduled for March 15, 2025, will provide food assistance to 1,000 families in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Coinciding with both Engr. Saleeman’s birthday and the 15th day of Ramadan, the event will also serve as the official launch of the Saleeman Adedoyin Saleeman (SAS) Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on humanitarian aid and social impact.

“This initiative is not only about providing food to those in need but also about formally launching the SAS Foundation to expand our reach and make a greater impact,” Saleeman shared on his social media page. “We have been engaged in charitable efforts for years, but with a structured foundation, we can do even more.”

The Kwara-born entrepreneur also encouraged individuals and organizations to support charitable causes, emphasizing that small acts of kindness can drive meaningful change.

In his Ramadan message, Engr. Saleeman called for compassion, generosity, and support for the underprivileged, urging Muslims to uplift one another during the holy month.

He described Ramadan as a time for spiritual renewal and divine guidance, while also calling on Kwarans and Nigerians at large to pray for peace, security, and prosperity.

Beyond philanthropy, Engr. Saleeman has built a distinguished career as a global IT expert, leading digital transformation projects for Fortune 500 companies such as Lowe’s, Target, and Southwest Airlines in the United States. His expertise in cloud architecture, enterprise frameworks, and software engineering has revolutionized digital commerce experiences.

Despite his global career, Saleeman remains deeply connected to his roots, actively supporting community-driven initiatives in Kwara State and beyond.

He also extended Ramadan greetings to the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Mai Martaba, Alhaji Ibrahim Kolapo Sulu-Gambari, CFR, reaffirming his commitment to the well-being of Kwarans.
