Saraki donates furniture to Kwara schools

The former Senate president of Nigeria, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has donated furniture to some selected secondary schools in Kwara state.

In a statement signed by the Director of Project and Empowerment of the Ex-senate president constituency office, Otukoko Olayinka Ibrahim, he disclosed that Saraki had, before the 2019 general elections, recorded scores of requests from schools within Kwara state where assessments show the need for pupils and teachers furniture.

The statement reads, “After the prayers session of the birthday celebration of the immediate past President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON, the Director of Project and Empowerment at the mandate of office of Dr. Sarah, Otukoko Olayinka Ibrahim led an inspection team from the mandate office of Dr Saraki to the fabrication site of dual desk seaters that are to be distributed to schools across Kwara state.

“In the celebration mood of the 57th birthday of Dr. Saraki, the mandate office ensured some furniture were fabricated and ready for distribution as a mark of honor and in celebration of Dr. Saraki’s birthday where lists of schools to benefit have been compiled and distribution commence across the state on Monday 23rd December, 2019.”
