Salihu Shola Taofeek, CEO and Publisher of The Informant247, is a Nigerian journalist, SDG advocate, and microbiologist with certifications in journalism.
As the head of The Informant247, he oversees the production of impactful reports across written and audiovisual formats, shaping narratives that inform and engage audiences.
With expertise in Internet Information Services (IIS), web design, data analysis, cartooning, video editing, and computer graphics, Taofeek has demonstrated a strong track record in the newsroom and media industry.
He earned a National Diploma from Sokoto State Polytechnic before graduating from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. He later pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism at the International Institute of Journalism.
Taofeek’s career spans various roles, including reporter, cartoonist, data analyst, audiovisual expert, and editor. His diverse experience ultimately led him to establish The Informant247, a leading news platform dedicated to delivering credible and insightful journalism.
