…discuss strategies for 2023 elections

The young sensational All Progressive Congress candidate for Owode Onire constituency in Asa local government, Rukayat Shittu, other female candidates and aspirants on Tuesday, met with the Kwara First Lady, Ambassador AbdulRazaq Olufolake to discuss strategies and a way forward ahead of the 2023 general elections in the State.

In meeting with the First Lady was the Commissioner for Communication, Hon. Olabode Towoju, Mrs. Abosede Buraimoh of Environment, Commissioner for Youths, Jamila Bake, and State APC women leader, Hajia Fatimah.

Speaking at the Government House in Ilorin, Rukayat Shittu commended the First Lady’s effort in stabilizing the women’s position in Kwara Politics.

She further seeks her usual support as the election is fast approaching.

Receiving the aspirants and candidates, Ambassador Olufolake described the game changer as a warrior, stating that the last primary that involves many females in the state is just the beginning of a positive revolution in Kwara State.

She charged the female warriors to be resilient and united in their course.

The trio of Hon. Towoju (Communications), Hon. Abosede (Environment) and Hon. Jamila (Youth) appreciated the presence of the female game changers and charged them to be more focused in their dealings.

The APC Women Leader in her submission also lauded the First Lady’s support in the last primary elections in the state, while she seeks more support from her towards the female candidates.
