Ronaldo misses out on winning Saudi Arabian league
Christiano Ronaldo has missed out on winning the Saudi Arabian league in this season.
This was confirmed after Al-Ittihad secured a 3-0 win at Al-Feiha on Saturday to clinch the Saudi Pro League title for the first time since 2009.
Although, their victory was not enough for them to be champions at the time not until Ronaldo’s Al Nassr dropped points in their 1-1 draw against Al Ettifaq.
The former Real Madrid star did not finish the match as he was substituted due to feeling some discomfort.
With the result, Al- Ittihad now have 69 points, five more than Al-Nassr, with one round of match left to play.
Ronaldo will finish his first season in the country empty-handed after joining the club in January.
