Ronaldo and Georgina to live in Saudi against sharia law

Christiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez are expected to live together in Saudi Arabia despite the prohibition of the law of the land which is deeply rooted in Sharia- the islamic injunction.

Ronaldo and his partner are not duly and officially married and the Saudi law prohibits such people living together in their country.

The 37-year-old and Georgina and their five children had arrived in Saudi after signing a two-and-a-half-year contract worth some 200 million euros a year with Al Nassr FC.

However, Reports are strong that the family may enjoy some exception from the Saudi authority giving their circumstances.

The Portuguese football star has indicated that he does plan to marry the model, although there is no date set.

“I’m not thinking about it now, but I can see in the future that I think I deserve it, she deserves it,” Cristiano said in an interview with TalkTV’s Piers Morgan in November.

“But it’s something that’s not in my plans now, but in the future I do want to.”
