Robert Lewandowski pens farewell message to Bayern as he completes Barcelona move
The Polish Striker after spending Eight years at Allianz Arena has completed a move to Barcelona with a deal worth €50 million.
In a farewell message on his social media handle, Robert Lewandowski thanked the German giants family for the successes and achievements he recorded at the Club.
“I would like to thank my teammates, staff members, club management and everyone who has always supported me and made it possible for us to win trophies for FC Bayern Munich. I am proud of what we have achieved together. Above all, I would like to thank the fans because it is you who make FC Bayern Munich the special club that it is. Im privileged to have spent 8 wonderful years with this club and its fans and it will remain in my heart forever” he said.
According to reports, his contract with Barcelona will be until June 2025 and will also include an option for further season – which potentially means a stay till 2026.
Lewandowski is expected to be a key figure to the ongoing reformation and rebuilding process of Barcelona when the new season begins.
