Resurgence continues as Chelsea stun Liecester 3-1
The London boys on Saturday continued their revival efforts with yet another 3-1 victory over Liecester City.
It was a third straight victory for Graham Potter’s led side who have endured a horrible season with streak of poor performance.
While Patson Daka’s equalizer canceled Ben Chilwell’s opener against his former side, It was Kai Havertz’s sublime finish and Mateo Kovacic’s volley sealed it all for the blues on the road.
Chelsea’s Joao Felix hit the post and had his goal ruled out by VAR and that homeside were reduced to 10 men when Wout Faes was sent off late in the game.
It was just the second time Chelsea had scored three times in a Premier League game this season and the London fans may just have continue to savour the turnaround.
The blues remain 10th on the log with 37 points while Liecester have been left 16th on the log with 24 points – a point against the drop zone
