Ramadan: Ajia family holds remembrance lecture, prayer for late parents

The family of Alhaji Muhammadu Kuranga Ajia on Sunday held a remembrance lecture and prayer session for their late father and mother as part of activities during the holy month of Ramadan.

The spiritual gathering took place at the Ajia Kuranga Compound, Agaka area of Ilorin, where family members, friends, and well-wishers assembled to offer prayers for the repose of the deceased.

The event was organised by Professor Abdulmumin Yinka Ajia and featured Qur’anic recitations and other Islamic supplications for the departed.

A guest lecture was also delivered by Islamic scholar, Sheikh Muritado Agaka, who admonished attendees on the importance of remembering the deceased through prayers, charity, and righteous living, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The programme concluded with collective prayers for the late parents and for peace and blessings upon the family.
