Police apprehend 22-yr-old man for allegedly robbing student of valuables in Lagos
The Lagos State Police Command have apprehended a 22-year old suspect for launching an attack on and robbing a student of his property.
The spokesperson of the police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this revelation through his verified Twitter paged monitored by the Informant247 on Tuesday.
He added that the robbery suspect was apprehended by officers of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the police Command, Tuesday morning.
“At 1:02 a:m, a student just arrived in Ojota from Abuja and was trekking home nearby.
“The suspect and one other, still at large, attacked and dispossessed him of all his valuables.
“Thanks to the eagle-eyed RRS patrol officers around the scene,” he said.
The image maker of the police command said that the perpetrators of the attack were hunted but only the robbery suspect was apprehended while his accomplice ran away.
He revealed that efforts are on-going to apprehend the other.
