PHOTOS: Tinubu attends Benin Republic’s 63rd independence anniversary
Nigerian President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently at Amazone Square, Cotonou, the country’s capital, alongside other leaders to celebrate the 63rd independence anniversary ceremony of the Republic of Benin.
Benin gained independence from France on August 1, 1960 — two months before Nigeria.
The Informant247 gathered that President Tinubu arrived in Cotonou, Benin’s capital, on Tuesday morning.
On Monday, Dele Alake, Tinubu’s special adviser on special duties, communications and strategy, announced that the president is the special guest of honour.
