No fewer than four persons were on Tuesday, escaped death from an unidentified helicopter that crashed along Oba Akran road, Ikeja, Lagos.
It was gathered that the officials of the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service were currently at the scene for the rescue exercise.
The chief press secretary (CPS) to the Lagos state governor, Gboyega Akosile in a tweet, said four persons, including the pilot, were in the helicopter, adding that the four persons were rescued alive from the ill-fated chopper and have been transferred to the hospital.
Akosile wrote, “A helicopter containing four persons, including the pilot crash landed in front of the UBA branch in Ikeja. All four casualties have been retrieved from the aircraft alive. They have been transferred to the hospital for further care. LASEMA, Lagos Fire Service on the ground.”
