Oyo police summons skit maker Trinity over ‘disturbing video’
The Oyo State Police Command invited well-known skit maker Trinity after a video of him and a female juvenile went viral on social media.
The State Police announced the invitation to Trinity via their Twitter account.
“Popular content creator, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa AKA Trinity has been contacted and invited at the Oyo State Police Command in connection with the disturbing viral skit content making the rounds across the Social Media space concerning a Female Minor. Updates would be provided soon.”
Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Nigerian Police’s spokesperson, had demanded Trinity’s arrest after a video of him and a child went viral on Twitter.
Trinity was accused of sexual abuse in the video by a Twitter user going by the name @damidenola, who also demanded his arrest.
“A video of Trinity Guy and a 10-year-old girl. This is sexual abuse of a minor and not a prank, He actually needs to be arrested.”
Adejobi demanded Trinity’s arrest in response to the video and said that he ought to face legal consequences.
“This is rubbish and criminal. This guy should be arrested and charged to court. We will act as soon as possible. I hate this scene. Child abuse!!!.”
The Police spokesperson had called for Trinity’s arrest on Monday due to extremely prank.
“This doesn’t make any sense. I think the guy should have been arrested.
“Those individuals who feel the heat and fear of the pranks should be reporting the pranksters as many of their pranks are criminals, immoral, and evil.”
Adejobi encouraged anyone who have been impacted by the skit maker’s pranks to denounce them to the authorities by sharing an extreme prank film on his Instagram page
