Gobir felicitates with Christians at Easter
The Chairman of Gobir Foundation, Waziri Yakubu Gobir, has felicitated with Christians on the celebration of Easter, urging religious leaders and worshipers to respect one another’s differences and to embrace everybody – rich or poor, Christian or Muslim.
In an Easter message signed by his director of strategy and communications Mr. Charles Olufemi Folayan, Gobir said one of the greatest beauty of the world is the diversity of religion, making it imperative for people to respect one another – rich or poor.
He noted that the challenges facing the world today especially the recent outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, affects everyone irrespective of race, culture or religion. This further tells us that we are one world and must live together in peace and care for each other as one family.
He congratulate all Christians in Kwara State particularly and the world at large on this year celebration of Easter and urged them to use this period to pray to God to heal our land from the current pandemic. And also to bless us with good leaders at all times.
