Oyo gov Makinde presents SUV to Ayefele after fire incident

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has expressed his support for gospel singer Yinka Ayefele by presenting him with a new Sports Utility Vehicle, following a fire that devastated the Music House in Ibadan last Friday.

The incident resulted in significant losses, with property worth millions of naira destroyed. During the heartfelt presentation in Ibadan, Governor Makinde commended Ayefele for his unwavering resilience and notable contributions to the entertainment and media sectors in Oyo State and across Nigeria.

“On behalf of the State Governor, Makinde, and the State Government, we are here to commiserate with you,” the Governor’s representative, Otunba Ademola Ojo, said while handing over the keys to the SUV. “You are a symbol of perseverance and inspiration to millions of Nigerians.”

Ayefele was visibly touched by the gesture as he received the vehicle, reflecting the significance of community and support in challenging times. Governor Makinde had previously visited the Fresh FM station a day after the fire to assess the damage and show his solidarity with the broadcaster.
