OVER JATTO’S DEATH, SUSPECTED CULTISTS REMANDED

August 31, 2017 an Ilorin Magistrate court on Thursday REMANDED in prison one Musa Yakub Elelu, Mufutau Imam the both are of Aye confraternity and Olaitan Usman of Eye confraternity for been a member of secret cult, illegal possession of firearms and culpable homicide.

Musa Yakub Elelu, Mufutau Imam and Olaitan Usman were docked on a three count charge offence of been a member of secret cult, illegal possession of firearms and culpable homicide all contrary to sections 97, 298 and 292 of the penal code law.

Prosecutor, inspector jubril told the court that three suspect were arrested by the men of the NIGERIA police for been involved in the killing of One Mr Jato, and when searched a locally made pistol already loaded with a live cartridge was recovered from them.

He also added that the suspect killed one Mr Jato at the Kwara state stadium complex

Meanwhile the prosecutor also note that the investigation conducted revealed that Musa Yakub Elelu was a graduate of National diploma from the Kwara state polytechnic, Olaitan Usman was never a student of any tertiary institutions while Mufutau Imam was never a student of any school.

A J Edun and A S Abdullahi Jimba Defence counsel urged the court to admit them to bail in liberal term and the accused person not to jump bail.

In his ruling Magistrate Olawoyin REMANDED Olaitan Usman at oke-kura prison while the two others were REMANDED at the Mandala prison.
