Victor Osimhen was again on the scoresheet on Wednesday when Napoli defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 in the second leg of UEFA Champions league round of 16 game.
The Nigeria International who has been brilliant for the Partenopei this season opened the scoreline in the stroke of the half time and slotted home his second goal of the game in the 53rd minutes.
Piotr Zeilinski sealed it up for Serie A leader when he scored a penalty in the 64th minutes -thus handing the quarter final ticket to his team with a 5-0 aggregate.
It was another rewarding night for Coach Luciano Spalleti and his boys who have been impressive in both domestic and European fronts in the current season with the victory also ensuring they book their first ever champions league quarter-finals ticket.
Osimhen has now scored 23 goals in total for Napoli so far this season- 19 in the Serie A and 4 in the Champions league.
It was also a special night for Osimhen as he has now scored 50 goals in his 90 appearances for Napoli.
He also became the first Napoli player in history to score in both legs of a champion league knockout.
