Ondo Gov. Akeredolu hands over power to his deputy, Aiyedatiwa

The Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has transferred the power to govern the state to his deputy Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

The handing over of power to the deputy governor was revealed in a letter sent to the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun.

The Governor told parliamentarians that he will proceeding on a 15 – working day vacation as the first installment of his 2023 Annual Leave.

Akeredolu said the leave will begin from Monday 3 and end on that the leave will end on Tuesday 25 of April.

The Governor is expected to resume responsibility back on Wednesday 26 of this month.

The deputy Governor is to take over the mantle of leadership from today till Tuesday, 25 April 2023.
