Ohanaeze Ndigbo president, Obiozor, is alive: Spokesman dismisses rumours

The top Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has falsified the rumours that its President General, Prof. George Obiozor, has died.

The Informant247 observes that there had been rumours over the condition of health of the president general in the last few days.

The Informant247 also recalls that a stalwart of apex Igbo sociocultural organization had revealed that the president General gave up the ghost on December 26, 2022.

The group’s chieftain, who spoke as an anonymous, revealed the president general died of a heart-related disease.

He, however, added that the group would not make the news public until his family does.

While granting an interview in Enugu on Wednesday, the spokesperson of the top Igbo group, Chief Alex Ogbonna, affirmed that Prof Obiozor was alive.

Oghonna has dismissed the rumours, insisting that the president general was still alive.
