Ogun Gov, Abiodun appoints 5 new permanent secretaries

The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has confirmed the appointment of 5 new permanent secretaries in the civil service of the state.

The development was confirmed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, in a statement released in Abeokuta, the capital of the state on Friday.

The Chief Press Secretary, revealed that the new appointees are to occupy the existing vacancies in the civil service of the state.

Somorin added that the state government has put into consideration, factors such as merit, seniority, inclusiveness and professionalism, before choosing the new permanent secretaries.

The governor banked on the postulation of Section 208 (c) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).

The identities of the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries were given as; Mr. Adesoji Augustus Adewuyi, Engr. Sakirudeen Ayinde Salaam, Mr. Adesina Mufutau Towolawi, Mr. Hammed Morakinyo Ojo, and Dr (Mrs) Olayinka Nike Elemide.

The Governor has urged the new permanent secretaries to ready for the challenges connected to their new positions and responsibilities and make use of diligence to contribute to the “Building Our Future Together” Agenda of the Administration.
