OFFICIAL: Vinicius renews Real Madrid deal until 2027

Vinicius Junior have officially renewed his contract at Real Madrid until 2027.

Real Madrid made the announcement after reaching an agreement of deal  extension with Vinicius whose current deal expires in 2024.

The Brazilian arrived at Bernabeu in July 2018  at the age of 18 years.

In a statement, the club recalls what the former Striker has already achieved in exchange for 45 million euros he was signed for.

It noted that “During the six seasons spent defending the first-team jersey, he has made 235 appearances, scoring 63 goals and winning 9 trophies: 1 Champions League, 2 Club World Cups, 1 European Super Cup, 2 La Liga, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups,” Real Madrid said in their announcement.

Following the official announcement, the club is preparing an event for Fiorentino Perez and the player at Valdebebas.

The announcement is coming a few hours after Vinicius scooped  the Socrates Award for fighting against racism and for his hard work in education in Brazil.

Real star reportedly invested almost €4m until now for his Vini Jr. Institute’ — education app for poor students.

While the new deal includes a salary increase to put him on the list of the highest paid players in the club,, his release clause has also been pegged at 1 billion euros.
