NSCDC parades 6 thieves of cable in Kaduna
Idris Yahya Adah, who’s the Kaduna Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), on Friday, sent message of warning to criminals in the state to stay away from their evil act or face immediate sanction.
Adah made this revelation while parading six suspected criminals who are into vandalism of street lights, cables, transformers, solar panels, and other facilities of the government in the state.
He revealed that the suspects are Abubakar Bala, Murtala Mohammed Musa, Aliyu Sani, Suleiman Abubakar and Abubakar Abdullahi.
He also added that officers and operatives of the command got information of the activities of the criminals’ while conducting routine patrol and immediately mobilized forces, and as a result arrested six, while others absconded.
The commandant also revealed that the officers are currently searching the nooks and crannies of the state to apprehend the remaining suspected criminals.
He also added that the suspected criminals have opened up, acknowledged that they stole the items, reaffirming that they would be dragged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
