No fewer than six suspects have been arrested by the operatives of the Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) with two 14-tyre trucks fully loaded with railway slippers.
The Informant247 gathered that the suspects were arrested at Oloru in Moro Local Government of Kwara State at midnight on Wednesday.
Umar J. G. Mohammed, NSCDC commandant, while parading the suspects, identified them as Yunusa Bello, 41, Sanni Taminu, 35, Sanusi Lawal, 25, Alhaji Makeri, 33, Lukman Sanni, 32, and Olabode Johnson, 41.
The commandant also paraded Babatunde Adekunle, 41, for ATM fraud, saying the suspect allegedly swapped his ATM card with that of an old man at a bank’s ATM point and subsequently withdrew N1,800,000 from the account.
