NSCDC apprehend 3 suspects over alleged illegal mining in Delta
Operatives of the Nigerian Security & Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC in Delta State have apprehended three suspected illegal miners in Ugbokodo waterside in Okpe Local Government Area.
The spokesperson of the NSCDC, Dsc Emeka Peters Okwechime made this revelation in a signed statement which was released to newsmen.
The image maker of the NSCDC unveiled the identities of the apprehended suspects to include Samuel Ige, ‘M’ 40yrs from Oyete in Isoko LGA in Delta State, Eze Emmanuel, ‘M’ 32yrs from Ebonyi State, and Isa Idris ‘M’ aged 18yrs from Kano State.
He also revealed that the suspects were apprehended following a credible intelligence made available to the police command.
“Although the suspects have been granted administrative bail, they would be charged to court when investigations are concluded,” he explained.
