NPFL: Kwara United vs Remo Stars clash to hold on Sunday
The NPFL matchday clash between Kwara United and Remo Stars will hold on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
The game was earlier being rumoured to hold on Saturday, October 5 in Ilorin, but a statement from the club on Wednesday says the game schedule remain Sunday.
“Our matchday five encounter
against Remo Stars FC will now hold on Sunday, 6th October.
“According to the Team Manager, Oke M Jimoh, time remains 4:00pm, and the venue is the main bowl of the Kwara state stadium complex, Ilorin” statement from Obaro Hussein, club’s fans’ engagement officer said.
Kwara United will be looking forward to securing three maximum points against the visiting Remo Stars to boost their image in the current campaign.
Kwara United has failed to win any of their last three games in the league this season. The team has managed to secure only two points from their last three games.
The fans in Ilorin are also expecting a convincing performance from the team, having secured a 1-1 draw against Bayelsa United in the Match week four away from home.
The record at home has not also been palpable as the team mostly struggled in front of fans, thus opening barrage of criticism for the team under the tutelage of their Technical Adviser, Coach Tunde Sanni.
On the other hand, Remo Stars are yet to taste defeat this current season and will like to maintain their perfect record going into the game.
