Not a dime missing from my NGO account; it was all a plan – Verydarkman

Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), the social media commentator, who has earlier said that N180 million was missing in his NGO hacked account on Tuesday, revealed that not a single dime from his NGO funds is missing and that the NGO account never hacked

In a video shared on Tuesday, the outspoken social critic expressed disappointment with Nigerians for accepting the story without proper investigation and resorting to insults directed at him and his mother.

He said, “No money is missing; my money is secured. The way people are so excited about bad is really sad. I told my website guy, shut the website; let us use this people catch cruise. Nobody bothered to ask for evidence. They just went with what is being said. I am so happy I did this.

The Informant247 reports that Martins Otse, popularly known as the controversial social media celebrity, claimed over N180 million was stolen from his NGO’s account following a hacking incident.

It would be recalled that the VeryDarkMan had October launched the Martins Vincent Osei Initiative, which garnered over N35 million in donations within hours. Shortly after, music producer Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, contributed N100 million to the cause.

Otse, while addressing the incident in an Instagram video on Friday, said, “I’ve not been myself these past few days,” Otse shared. “Somebody hacked into the NGO website, and N180 million is missing. Thankfully, we’ve tracked the person, and one suspect has been arrested.

“The account is now on PND (Post No Debit). There’s N20 million left, while N160 million was diverted. We’re heading to Jos to recover the money.”
