North-West APC women promise huge votes for Tinubu/Shettima presidency

The Northwest women wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has promised huge votes and adequate support for the Tinubu/Shettima presidential ambition in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

The APC northwest women team made the promise while flagging off their campaign on Wednesday in Katsina State.

Speaking during the event, the Minister of Finance, Hajiya Zainab Shamsuna, assured the presidential candidate and his running mate that women in the zone are fully with them.

She explained that the Federal government, under the leadership of President Muhammad Buhari, has done a lot towards improving the wellbeing of Nigerians.

“Therefore, we are calling on all women in the zone to continue to give our party all the necessary support so that the APC will continue to rule in all levels,” she said.

She further appealed to women in Katsina State to continue to exhibit the hospitality they are well known for by supporting the APC in the 2023 elections.

Also, the Minister of state for Trade and investment, Hajiya Maryam Katagun, also said the administration of President Buhari under the APC will always be remembered for its developmental programmes.

According to her, the administration has positively touched the lives of many Nigerians, especially women and youths through various empowerment programmes.

She assured women that if elected as president and Vice, Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima will continue with those programmes in addition to their other initiatives.

Sen. Remi Tinubu, in her remarks, assured women that together with Mrs Nana Kashim-Shettima will do all it takes to bring succor for Nigerian women and youths.

She commended women for their overwhelming support, promising to do everything possible to ensure peace in both northwest and the north-east.

Speaking on behalf of Gov. Aminu Masari’s wives, Dr Badiyya Mashi said the administration of APC at all levels has provided job opportunities to women and youths.

She explained that women and youths in the state have witnessed the dividend of democracy under the APC administration.
