Nobody can force me out of Nigeria, I’m here to stay — Peter Obi
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has said he would not leave Nigeria for anybody.
He said nobody can force him out of the country.
The Informant247 recalls that Obi had earlier raised alarm that some persons were pressuring him to quit the country or be arrested for treason.
He made this revelation while speaking at the Onitsha Holiday Resort, Onitsha.
Obi revealed that his party is dedicated to the creation of a new country.
He said the country is full of many thieves who inflicting hardship and pain on the people.
He said his party is dedicated to rescuing the political system of the country from the hands of such thieves.
He said he would not relent until those people are removed from offices.
Peter Obi said: “There is too much suffering in this country, and, that is what we, in Labour Party, are fighting to end. There are many thieves in the country. So, Labour Party is fighting to create a new Nigeria. I am here with you, and nobody is going to force me to leave Nigeria.
He implored the people to cast their votes for the party’s House of Representatives candidate in Saturday’s supplementary election in Ogbaru, Anambra State, Victor Afam Ogene.
The Informant247 also recalls that the candidate was leading other candidates before the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC declared the election inconclusive.
Obi described the candidate as loyal, honest, humble and an agent of development.
Accompanied by Tony Nwoye, and Oseloka Obaze, the former Governor of the state, Obi said the candidate was dedicated to his philosophy of creating a new Nigeria.
