Nigeria’s Flying Eagles beat Argentina to qualify for U20 World Cup quarter final
Nigeria’s U-20 National team, Flying Eagles on Wednesday defeated hosts nation, Argentina 2-0 to qualify for quarter-final of the on-going U-20 FIFA World Cup.
Recall that the flying Eagles qualified for the round of 16 as one of the best losers team after finishing third in the Group A with 6 points.
After a long stretch of battle at a well packed Estadio San Juan Del Bicentenario stadium full of the hosts’ nation fans, Ibrahim Muhammad got the breakthrough for the Coach Ladan Bosso led side as he tapped in defense splitting pass from Emmanuel in the 61st minute.
