The 2008/2009 set of the Nigerian Law School have appreciated the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for appointing Barr. Senior Ibrahim Sulyman as the State’s Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Science and Technology.
The law school alumni delegation, who were also classmates with Senior, led by the National Legal Adviser of Zenith Labour Party, Barr. ThankGod Enahoro during a courtesy and congratulatory visit to the commissioner in his office in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital city on Tuesday, described the appointment as “a round peg in a round hole”.
Enahoro, who applauded the decision of the Governor, urged the commissioner to sustain his impeccable pedigree by discharging his duties diligently.
He also charged Barr. Senior to continue to be a good ambassador of the class in his service to the state, praying for God’s wisdom and direction for him in his new assignment.
For his part, Barr. Senior appreciated his former classmates for identifying with him, stressing that their visit is an encouragement for him to put his best for the upliftment of education in the state.
He pledged not to disappoint them on the confidence reposed in him by the state Governor, adding that he would inject new ideas into the smooth administration of the Tertiary Institutions in the state.
Part of the delegation includes Bar. Gbadebo Ikuesan, a legal practitioner and APC stalwart from Ondo State and likewise Bar. Frank from Enugu State.
In company of Barrister Senior Ibrahim Sulyman in receiving the delegation are; Engineer Rotimi Iliasu Suleiman, Commissioner for works; Architect Saifudeen, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; S. A Investment to Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Kabir Shagaya; and Technical Assistant on Agricultural Alhaji Qowiyyuh Olododo.
