Niger Gov., Bago appoints 131 women as aides
No fewer than 131 women have been appointed into various political positions by the Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago.
The Informant247 gathered according to the spokesperson to the governor, Bologi Ibrahim, in a statement on Saturday that 41 of the appointees were to serve as coordinators while the remaining 90 would serve as Senior Special Assistants (SSAs).
Bago, while congratulating the appointees, also called on them to be dedicated and urge them to contribute their quota to the success of his administration’s policy thrusts, saying the appointments were in fulfillment of his campaign promise to allow women the chance to contribute to the building of the state.
