NGO offers free books to Kwara students
As part of it’s contribution to knowledge management, Goal Aimers Initiative has said it is offering free books to students in Kwara state.
This was disclosed by the group’s coordinator, Saeed Tijjani, In a statement obtained by this medium.
Tijjani said the humanitarian group is currently working on its first project, Book Drive Project with theme, Groom to Rule which is targeted at Kwara state students.
He said, “Pupils/Students – must especially in public schools who do not have access to quality education, who can’t afford textbooks and other important reading materials to enable them have a conformable reading environment or learn well,”
When asked the support the group need from the public, he said, “What we currently need to help the targeted students are: Used Textbooks of Primary and Secondary Schools, New Textbooks, Exercise Books, Stationeries, Writing and other related School materials as well as Monetary Donations”
He continued, “We would be executing this project comes September 25th 2019 which is few days after schools resumption, for donations you can contact -08061360917- for enquires.”
