Neymar may join Messi at Man City
Argentina captain, Lionel Messi has been linked with a move to Premier League side, Man City after formally asking to leave Barcelona.
According to Supersport, The six-time Ballon D’or winner has reportedly held private talks with former teammate and friend Neymar Jr to move to Manchester City.
Lionel officially submitted a transfer request to his employers, expressing his intent to end his 17-year reign at senior level, this was a huge shock to the whole world.
According to ESPN Brasil, Messi is now looking to reunite with former boss Pep Guardiola and his former La Blaugrana teammate Neymar at the Etihad.
The duo enjoyed a sterling career stint spanning about three years with each at the Catalunya club, before the Brazilian veteran joined Paris Saint-Germain in the French topflight in a €222 million all time transfer record fee in 2017.
Neymar, however, was believed to have left for the the French Champions in attempt to shield himself from the shadows of Lionel Messi who was referred to as the Greatest of All Time.
