Nationwide population census will hold from March 29 to April 2 — NPC Chairman
The National Population Commission (NPC) has scheduled the national housing and population census for March 29 to April 2, 2023.
This was revealed by the chairman of the commission, Nasir Kwarra, shortly after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the state house in Abuja, the country’s capital.
Kwarra said; “By March 29 to April 2, our staff will be in the field enumerating people.”
He further revealed that the technology that would be employed for the exercise of the population census will be able to code landmass and building, revealing information like landscape, location etc.
He assured the people of the country that credible and reliable exercise would be conducted.
The chairman added that non citizens of the country would be counted since they’re in the country when the exercise was conducted.
