NAKLAS to celebrate Emir of Ilorin’s legacy
National Association of Kwara State Law Students (NAKLAS), set to celebrate the Legacy of Emir of Ilorin, HRH Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari at the 2026 National Conference.
The event which will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the Arca Santa Arena (Event Center), in Ilorin, Kwara State will feature the formal launch of a publication titled “The Bar, The Bench, and The Crown,” written in honor of the Royal Father of the Day, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, JCA (Rtd), CFR.
In a statement, the association stated that the historic unveiling of the book, chronicles the illustrious and unprecedented journey of His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari.
The statement added that the Conference Lecture will be delivered by the eminent Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe, SAN (Managing Partner of Sofunde, Osakwe, Ogundipe & Belgore) and the publication to be critically reviewed by Prof. Lukman Adebisi Abdulrauf of the Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin.
Distinguished Guests of Honor include, His Excellency, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the Kwara state governor, His Excellency, Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON and Chairman of the Day, Prof. Yusuf Ali among others.
