Naira Crisis: ‘Emefiele, f**l who thought that he’d live forever’ – Fani-Kayode

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele, need be punished for making Nigerians suffer pain and agony following the recent cashless policy crisis.

President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not need his order before it would obey the judgement of the Supreme Court.

The president on Monday, March 13 said the CBN does not need his consent before it would follow the directive of the apex court.

This was revealed in a statement released by a presidential media aide, Malam Garba Shehu.

The presidential spokesperson said the Nigerian leader did not sponsor the Governor of CBN, Godwin Emefiele and the Attorney General of the federation, Abubakar Malami to disobey order of the Supreme Court.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has declared the old naira notes N200, N500 and N1000 remain legal tender until December 31, 2023.

This was revealed by the spokesperson of the apex bank, Isa Abdulmumin, CBN spokesperson in a statement on Monday, March 13, 2023.

Reacting, Fani Kayode said the party’s stakeholders who fought against the CBN boss have thrown Emefiele under the bus.

He said the wickedness of Emefiele does not have limitation, referring to him as the most sadistic soul that has ever held position of authority in the country.

He said: “Godwin has finally been thrown under the bus. He deserves the worst. A psychotic & vicious sociopath, he is undoubtedly the most sadistic soul that has ever been given a position of power in our nation’s history.

“His cruelty surpasses all others & his wickedness has no limitations”

“Here lies Godwin the fool who thought that he would live forever, who thought that power lay in the hands of mere mortals and who thought that money was greater than God. May he burn in hell forever”.
