NAF kills scores of bandits in Zamfara forest

Two fighter jets of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) have killed scores of bandits suspected to be members of a notorious bandits’ kingpin, Bello Turji in Zamfara forest.

A source revealed that the bandits were killed during a ‘surprise raid’ by the air troops of Operation Forest Sanity in Zamfara State.

The surprise attack launched by the military troops was effected by two fighter jets of. the Nigerian Air Force, NAF, after credible intelligence.

A defence intelligence source revealed that the NAF jets dropped their missiles at the Fakai area.

This area is believed to be the location of the notorious bandits’ kingpin, Turji.

The source said, “As at the moment, we can’t give the actual casualty figure.”
